Children’s Restorative Dentistry
We welcome children and teenagers to our practice. Our team of dental professionals focuses on prevention, and tailors a treatment plan to each child to make sure that through prevention (dental sealants, fluoride treatments, and regular hygiene visits) they can maintain a healthy mouth for as long as possible.
The American Dental Association recommends that the first dental visit should occur within six months after the baby’s first tooth appears, but no later than the child’s first birthday. A child’s teeth are susceptible to decay as soon as they erupt. The first visit is advantageous to receive oral health education based on the child’s developmental needs.
