Implant Restorations
Dental implants are an alternative to tooth replacement. They substitute the root structure of a missing tooth. Implants placement usually requires multiple visits to the periodontist or oral surgeon. Once the site is healed, and the implant is stabilized in the bone, the general dentist will then start the restoration process. The restoration process consists of an abutment that screws in to the implant and a crown that is inserted on top.
