Removable Dentures
Tooth loss can be devastating to quality of life. Fortunately, there are multiple options to replace missing teeth, one of which is removable dentures. There are three types of removable dentures —
Partial Dentures are used to replace a few scattered missing teeth or groups of missing teeth. They are made of a variety of materials, each with an advantage and a disadvantage, but all do include prosthetic teeth and a tooth colored portion that is meticulously selected to blend in the mouth with the remaining teeth. They attach to existing teeth.
Complete, or Full Dentures are used to replace all upper teeth, all lower teeth, or both. They restore function, and esthetics. Full upper or lower dentures can be transitioned into overdentures.
Overdentures combine the modern advancement of dental implants to provide a more retentive, sure, stable, and therefore comfortable fit.
